About us

We are Eddington Engineering. We make excellent
custom ute, truck and toolboxes.

Situated near the Loddon river bridge on the main Bendigo/Maryborough road, Eddington Engineering is a local family owned and operated business providing quality steel fabrication services for over 30 years.

Currently employing nine, - seven full time and two part time, Eddington Engineering started in the early seventies when owner/managing director, Norman Morrison completed his apprenticeship as a boilermaker/welder and started making sheds and gates for local farmers from the family farm in Eddington.

The present building was constructed in 1979, the company was registered in 1985 and Norman’s son Simon joined the business in 1994.

Under Simon’s guidance, Eddington Engineering now specialises in the manufacture of high quality ute trays and truck trays, which are renown throughout Victoria. The company also strives to meet the needs of local farmers by repairing mowers, headers, and all types of farm machinery, quickly and efficiently either in the workshop or on site.

Training staff has always been a priority, having trained nine TAFE based, one ‘on the job’ apprentice steel fabricators, and one office administrator. Three apprentices have obtained ‘apprentice of the year’ awards at the Bendigo TAFE. Local secondary schools send VCAT students for on the job training, and work experience is offered to local students.

The business is one of several in the pretty little township or Eddington.
